A software license is one part of an email business. A clear operating model is the other. Know what the platform brings, and what your team owns.
Magic MTA provides the operating interface and tenant workspace. KumoMTA supplies the underlying transport engine.
You provide and operate the servers, IP resources and DNS. Deployment sizing follows your workload and retention needs.
You define your service, onboarding and customer policies. Tenant access gives customers a view into their own operation.
Permission, authentication and reputation still matter. Controls and evidence help your team act; they do not guarantee inbox placement.
The 2027 development preview looks beyond delivery: customer subscriptions, connected account access and a more deliberate way to maintain your installation.
Further integration and release testing are required. Availability, included scope and any additional costs will be confirmed before purchase.
An optional integration with your own aMember installation, plus customer subscription views, quota information and requests.
The planned platform combines linked billing-account sign-in with a management dashboard separate from the delivery engine.
Customer-approved signed updates, compatibility reviews and time-limited support access are part of the planned operating model.

Choose Meridian for a complete production operation. Choose Sovereign for additional environments, recovery preparation and a defined engineering engagement.
Proposed 2027 benefits. Deployment rights and service scope are confirmed in your agreement before purchase.
| What changes | Meridian $12,900 / year | Sovereign $24,900 / year |
|---|---|---|
| Sending allowance | Up to 1,500,000 delivered emails per hour | No edition-level throughput cap. Capacity depends on hardware and delivery conditions. |
| Deployment rights | 1 active production instance. Delivery-node scope agreed during sizing. | 1 production + 1 standby + 1 staging instance for one organization. |
| Architecture & recovery | Standard setup and integration guidance for your agreed deployment. | A scoped review of your architecture, capacity requirements and recovery plan. |
| Operational support | Technical support within the agreed standard coverage. | Priority handling for production incidents within agreed support coverage. |
| Engineering reviews | Standard documentation and upgrade guidance. | An agreed allowance of technical reviews and upgrade or change-planning assistance. |
The standby may replace the active production instance during recovery; it is not an additional concurrent production sender. Staging is for non-production testing. These are proposed license rights, not a claim of automatic replication or failover.
An instance is one separately deployed Magic MTA platform installation. A delivery node is an MTA server used by that installation. An instance does not imply unlimited delivery nodes: the license schedule specifies the permitted nodes and environments.
Support coverage, response targets, review deliverables and the engineering review allowance are agreed in writing before purchase. Reviews are advisory; hands-on installation and managed operations are separately scoped and priced. An unlimited site-license option is separately scoped and priced; it is not included in the $24,900 annual Sovereign preview. Clustered operation, high availability and automatic failover require separate implementation and acceptance.
All three plans share the operator and tenant capabilities shown in the product preview. The differences are licensed capacity, deployment rights and the scope of technical assistance.
Run the operation and give customers a view of their own sending.
Connect applications and campaign tools through supported submission paths.
Organize source pools, sending paths and warmup visibility.
Trace delivery questions back to queue state and provider responses.
Review authentication and domain setup with the required DNS access.
Give tenants scoped activity, usage and reporting views.

Membership, annual licensing and installation are separate charges. Preferred annual rates apply to one active license for one organization.

Talk to us ↗Magic MTA is an enterprise operations platform and customer-facing UI built around KumoMTA. It brings delivery operations, tenant workspaces, configuration and delivery evidence into a connected experience. KumoMTA is the underlying transport engine.
ESP founders, agencies and delivery teams that want to operate their own infrastructure and give customers a dedicated sending workspace. It is also relevant to organizations managing their own high-volume email operations.
Yes. The planned commercial offering is software for your own infrastructure. Servers, IP resources, domain ownership and ongoing operational responsibilities remain part of running your service. Deployment requirements will be confirmed before launch.
The commercial launch is planned for 2027. The existing product is being prepared for release; an exact date and final packaging have not been announced. Join the launch list for updates and demo announcements.
The public read-only demos are not available yet. The previews on this site use the actual application with synthetic data. Separate admin and tenant demo links will be added after the environments are ready.
The 2027 pricing preview includes Forge at $4,900 per year, Meridian at $12,900 per year, Sovereign at $24,900 per year. Prices are in USD. Forge covers 1 production delivery node, with a proposed license allowance of up to 450,000 delivered emails per hour. Meridian covers one active production installation, with a license allowance of up to 1,500,000 delivered emails per hour; delivery-node scope is agreed during sizing. Sovereign proposes production, standby and staging rights, no edition-level throughput cap, and scoped engineering assistance. Hardware and delivery conditions still apply. Site licensing and installation are separately priced. Final terms are agreed before purchase.
Both share the core admin and tenant platform. Meridian is for one active production installation, with a license allowance of up to 1,500,000 delivered emails per hour. Sovereign proposes one production, one standby and one staging instance, no edition-level throughput cap, a scoped architecture and recovery review, priority incident handling and an agreed engineering review allowance. Hardware and receiving-provider limits still apply.
An instance is one separately deployed Magic MTA platform installation. A delivery node is an MTA server used by that installation. An instance does not imply unlimited delivery nodes: the license schedule specifies the permitted nodes and environments.
The standby may replace the active production instance during recovery; it is not an additional concurrent production sender. Staging is for non-production testing. These are proposed license rights, not a claim of automatic replication or failover.
An optional connection to your own aMember installation is part of the 2027 development preview. It is designed to connect customer subscriptions with tenant recipient allowances and billing-account sign-in. Your Magic MTA software license is a separate relationship from the service plans you sell to customers. Real billing integrations and release testing are still required; this capability is not available yet.
The annual prices cover your Magic MTA software license. A separate $500 one-time optional aMember billing package is proposed for 2027, including a fresh, customer-owned aMember license, standard setup and branding, and Magic MTA tenant-billing integration. It is also separate from the $750 Magic MTA installation fee. Hosting, payment-processing fees, extra paid modules and ongoing maintenance are separate. License procurement, compatibility and the final setup scope will be confirmed before purchase. Integration and release acceptance are still required before this package becomes available. It is not available today.
The proposed $1,995 one-time membership offers preferred annual license rates of $3,900 for Forge, $9,900 for Meridian, $19,900 for Sovereign. It applies to one organization and one active license at a time, including renewals and tier upgrades while continuously subscribed. Membership and annual licensing are separate charges. Registration records interest only.
Installation services are planned for 2027, with a proposed $750 one-time setup for one supported Linux host. Larger deployments are quoted separately. Installation and licensing are separate charges; registering interest does not book an installation.
Guides are in preparation for installation, integrations, admin operations, tenant workflows, troubleshooting, and maintenance. The documentation section links to the available feature previews; full guides will be linked when they are ready.
No. Deliverability depends on your sending practices, recipient permission, authentication, reputation and receiving-provider decisions. The platform provides controls and evidence; a destination accepting a message is not proof that it reached the inbox.
Magic MTA focuses on delivery infrastructure and tenant operations. Keep campaign creation and audience management in a campaign tool such as MailWizz. Where the compatible extension and account permissions are enabled, Connect MailWizz provides guided account pairing, eligible delivery-server selection and connection verification. MailWizz is a separate product.
